Two pupil’s I’ve never talked to before come in to my office.
them: “What do you call them people who pull faces for a livin’?” Complete with demonstration.
me: “Gurners”
them: “Ah yea we thought it was grinder or somethin’, thanks.”
Pupil’s leave.

I work in a school so found these particularity funny. As I want to be a teacher I wasn’t sure if I should share them but hey funny is funny and I can always laugh at myself (however many teachers can’t so I’m sure I’ll get some stick at work from people who see this).
