Friend’s Blogs
Bob Kauflin
I don’t know Bob but I love the Worship Matters Blog so I’m treating him as a friend. I’ll meet him in heaven sometime.
Campbell Green
Campbell is another older wiser Christian man whom I respect, he’s an Elder in my church and has in the past been my youth leader and campaigner chief. He doesn’t like technology but had an iPhone???!!!
Dave Allen
Dave moved to Canada to get married to Stacey. Although he studied Finance at university he realised how boring that would be and is now a Police Man who likes to play at web design. He takes a mean picture and can blow on a saxophone like the wind.
Dave and Cara
I’ve know Dave most of my life. He married Cara (who’s name doesn’t mean diamond) and they live in Whiteabbey with their daughter Leah. Dave is the Baptist Youth Director for Northern Ireland and is my first stop for biblical advice.
Dave Funkypancake
I don’t know Dave but we have exchanged eMails a few times regarding sharing photos. His photoblog from London is great and updated often.
Elia
Elia is a great guy, he’s very musical playing piano, guitar and singing like an angel (one with a very deep voice). He’s a geek like me and could do anything he wants in life.
Just Jim
Jim is a slightly older Christian man who likes to read and shares my passion for gadgets (although he says he’s not a nerd). He’s a fellow Deacon for Carrickfergus Baptist.
Laura Gourely
Laura AKA Loopy is a primary school teacher who is more than a little bit good on the piano, you hum it and she’ll play it. Presently she’s serving God in New Zealand with SU.
Lindsay and Lillian
Lindsay is my pastor, he’s Dave Allen’s dad and also takes a great photograph. You might have heard him on the BBC doing thought for the day or on Hearts and Minds doing the funny cartoon bit.
Mark and Claire
I’ve been friends with Mark most of my life, he’s probably the nicest person you’ll ever meet, I’ve never heard him say a bad thing about anyone. I’m round with him and Claire most weeks (think Joey and the Bings) and have fun acting like a kid with their son Luke, Noah will no doubt join in soon.
Matt McIvor
Matt played guitar in Perfect Score and is a good singer. He ginger but also good lad. You might have heard him speak or provide music at the Belfast Giants.
Nev & Ali Smyth
I met Nev about 9 years ago when Perfect Score were touring
he married a lovely Scotish girl called Alison and move to Carrick. Nev is the closest thing I know to Lance Armstrong (i.e. he like to cycle) and Alison is a flute playing Primary School Teacher.
Rachel Orr
I’ve know Rachel for years, she’s a very talented Media type person. She’s married to Dan and they live in America with their beautiful daughter Charlotte-Amélie and dogs.
Roj
Guitarist extraordinary Roj is now living in Scotland and it would be great to be able to read his blog if he wrote in it more rather than just redesigning it. Hint hint!!!
Trev
I’ve know Trev most of my life, apparently when he was young and called Titch my friends used to throw him in hedges. He’s very handy and is always happy to help fix something. I was best man at his wedding to Kim and they now have two wonderful children in Josh and Olivia. Josh wants to be a drummer like me.
